  • What to Expect: A weekend packed with fungi education, guided walks, eclectic vendors, delicious food, live music, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Camping is included with weekend tickets!

The Georgia Mushroom Festival offers a dynamic schedule designed to educate and entertain.

Friday, October 17th:

  • 7 AM: Gates open for Vendors & Campers
  • 8 AM: General Admission begins
  • 10 AM: Vendor Village, Mushroom Village, and Festival officially open
  • 11 AM: Food Court opens
  • 2 PM - 5 PM: Mushroom Walks
  • 12 PM - 11 PM: Live Bluegrass Bands
  • 8 PM - 10 PM: Bioluminescent & Fluorescent Fungi / Community Night Walk (meet at MUSHROOM CENTRAL canopy)
  • Campground Activities: Mushroom walks start at 3 PM, basic mushroom education at 5 PM, and another Night Walk at 8 PM.

Saturday, October 18th:

Kids Korner

Bring the little ones to the Kids Korner, located at the new playground in Osborne Park! Open on Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM, it offers:

  • Bag making
  • Storytelling
  • Exploration activities
  • Free Violin Class: Taught by professional violinist Jesse James (from BANJOE STEVE). Email georgiamushroomfestival@gmail.com to sign up!
  • Wild Mushroom Education: Mad Izzy and her assistant Nacho will teach children how to search for and identify wild mushrooms.
  • Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • While vendors will not sell alcohol, campers are permitted to bring their own.
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
  • The festival is strictly educational and does not promote drug use or the sale of illegal substances.
